  1. Just happened, a viral post about how many dogs were found dead were suspected of being poisoned in the Canggu area, Bali. Based on the news circulating, tourists and residents were surprised by the discovery of dead dog carcasses in the Perancan Beach, Tibubeneng Village and Berawa Beach, Canggu Village, North Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.

Dozens of dogs that are often on the two coastal areas are suspected of being poisoned using food by unknown people. The poison attack given to a number of dogs in Bali also hit a number of dogs owned by residents. The death of dozens of dogs was originally uploaded by the Instagram account @canggucommunity on March 30, 2022 through the Instagram story feature with the theme Berawa Culing.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of North Kuta Police Iptu I Made Purwantara confirmed this, he learned of the incident after receiving a report from a Foreign Citizen (WNA) who said that he was an animal lover. Following up on the case, the police had checked CCTV in the area around the location, but the result was nil, the police still had difficulty finding the perpetrators, because many local residents were also feeding the stray dogs.

The temporary suspicion of the deaths of the dogs was carried out by irresponsible people by mixing animal food with poison which was then scattered in the area around the beach, but it can be ascertained that it was not caused by local residents, because so far the dogs had lived side by side with local residents.

Based on information collected by residents found 4 dead dogs on Perancak Beach on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at around 07.00 WITA, then a resident rediscovered a dead dog and a sparrow, all suspected of poisoning from the same food. The dogs have been buried by dog lovers.
